Do you offer financing?
Unfortunately, Maschino's does not currently have any financing options.
However, depending on the size of your project, it is common to do a half-down deposit to hold / order your items and then the other half upon install or delivery which may be a week or more depending on your project timeline.
What kind of discounts do you offer?
Maschino's offers builder and designer discounts for fireplace, patio, and grill island projects. The discount is determined by the scope of Maschino's involvement in the project and your salesperson will apply these at the time of the quote if they are applicable.

Common Grill Island Questions
How do I start a grill island project?
Simply stop by the store or email our grill island designer, Joan. Once we know what direction you're going for your project, Maschino's can walk you through everything from choosing components, designing the layout, building the framework, and installing your components. We can be as hands on as you like, if you're working with a builder, building everything yourself, or if you want us to take care of every step along the way.
What area do you perform deliveries in?
We service the greater-Springfield area including Branson and Northern Arkansas, Rolla, Joplin, Lake of the Ozarks, etc.
Outside of Springfield city limits there is a mileage fee on top of the standard install fee. If you'd like to know what the install fee looks like for your area, please give us a call or message us for an estimate!
How does Maschino's plan my grill island project?
Maschino's can help you design the outdoor kitchen of your dreams from choosing the right components for your space and to providing a top-down or 3D rendered layout so you can ensure everything looks right and is correctly proportioned before you commit to anything.
Common Patio Questions
How do I start a patio project?
The easiest way is to stop in to our showroom and speak with one of our salespeople. We do ask that you bring some basic information about your project - photos and plans are wonderful, inspiration pictures are also great! If you're unsure which options would be best for you, our patio team can guide you in the right direction for your needs.
What does my salesperson do?
Your salesperson will be your main point of contact at Maschino's. They will guide you through the whole process of quoting, purchasing, and delivery while answering any questions you or your designer may have.

How are bar, balcony, and counter heights different?
There are a lot of names for the different heights of table seating out there that depend on not only the height of the chair but they brand as well. One company's "balcony" height may be another's "counter" height and that same company may have different heights between styles. As a general rule of thumb...
- Bar Height - Climb up into the seat, great for seeing over tall landscaping and railings
- Balcony Height - High enough to see over a balcony railing but not quite bar height
- Counter Height - Back up into the seat, great for people who have a harder time getting out of seats that are lower to the ground
- Cafe Height - Sit down into the seat but a little taller than the average dining chair. Often used in situations that a wheelchair or mobility aide will be used at the table.
- Dining Height - The traditional height to sit down at a dining table
- Lounge Height - The traditional height to sit down into lounge furniture, usually lower than dining height
How long is the wait time for new orders?
As of June 2023, many of our companies have finally begun recovering from Covid setbacks. For custom patio orders, average lead times are 4-6 weeks but some companies or specific lines may be 12+ weeks out to order. Unfortunately it's still fairly common to receive notice of a week or two delay but the majority of our companies know what products to expect a back order on and will notify us of that extended lead time before your order is placed.
Maschino's does stock a wide selection of furniture in our showroom, however, and anything that is available in store can be delivered or picked up immediately.
Does Maschino's carry replacement parts?
Yes! Maschino's stocks a variety of common replacement parts including feet, sling rain caps, and spring plates of various sizes. We can also order parts directly from any of the companies we carry as well as order some generic parts that may fit your furniture - old or new.
Maschino's refinishes furniture?!
Yes! Maschino's prides ourselves in quality furniture that lasts decades, not just years. If you found some vintage patio furniture at an estate sales or you bought chairs at Maschino's 20 years ago, we can help you give it a facelift! We work with local companies to have your furniture sandblasted, primed, powder coated and sealed. Then we have new slings installed or new cushions made to give you a brand new patio set that you know you'll love for another decade or more. Refinishing is more economical all around, "recycling" used furniture is about 1/3 the price of a new set of furniture of equal quality.
How do I clean furniture from Maschino's?
Maschino's has a variety of furniture types but the majority of our pieces can be cleaned with basic soap and water. If you have a particularly stubborn stain, give us a call for suggestions based on your line of furniture.
We do not recommend power washing any of our furniture as it may be too abrasive for the finishes and fabrics.

What kind of warranty does Maschino's furniture have?
Each furniture company has a different warranty for their lines that Maschino's handles for our customers. If you ever have an issue with your furniture, just give us a call and Maschino's will ensure it's still in warranty with our records system, file all of the paperwork for you, and when the parts come in we will call to schedule a replacement of the parts so you can get back to enjoying your furniture ASAP!
Does Maschino's provide design services?
Yes! Maschino's can help you design the patio of your dreams from choosing the right kind of furniture and accessories for your space to providing a top-down or 3D rendered layout so you can ensure everything looks right and is correctly proportioned before you commit to anything.
We have a design center in our showroom so you can not only see and feel the furniture brands we carry, but you can also see all of the finishes and fabrics that brand has available in person.
Common Fireplace Questions
The Basics

We do ask that you bring some basic information about your project - photos and plans are wonderful, inspiration pictures are also great! What does my salesperson do?
Your salesperson will be your main point of contact at Maschino's. They will guide you through the whole process of quoting, purchasing, and installation while answering any questions you or your builder may have.
What is the difference between a fireplace and an insert?
A fireplace is a unit that was originally installed when you added a fire feature to your home or are currently building a home.
An insert is a unit that was inserted into a previously existing unit in your home - whether it's a masonry fireplace or a metal box of some kind.
What is a logset?
A logset (or log set) can mean both the set of logs that go on top of your burner or, more commonly, the log and burner set that would go into a firebox. This can be a masonry fireplace, metal firebox, etc.
Service & Maintenance
What area do you offer service in?
We service the greater-Springfield area including Branson and Northern Arkansas, Rolla, Joplin, Lake of the Ozarks, etc.
Outside of Springfield city limits there is a mileage fee on top of the standard service fee. If you'd like to know what the service fee looks like for your area, please give us a call or message us for an estimate!
What is involved in a fireplace service?
Maschino's offers three different kinds of service for all brands of fireplace. If you're unsure if the fireplace came from Maschino's, please look on the unit or manual for a brand, model, or serial number. Our records begin in 1997 so there's also a chance that we have a history of your fireplace.
- Seasonal Service - Our team will come out to clean and prep your fireplace for the season. We take readings on a variety of parts to ensure your unit is in good condition, inspect the logs and firebox for any damage or concerns, clean out the firebox, logs, burner and other components to ensure proper function. Our technicians can also teach or give refreshers on the operation of the unit.
- Troubleshooting Service - Our team will come out to investigate why your unit isn't behaving as it should. This could be as simple as fixing a malfunctioning remote to diagnosis and resolution of a warranty issue.
- Inspection - In this situation our team's goal is not to fix issues but to diagnose, log, and offer solutions for potential buyers. We will ensure the safety and longevity of the unit and can offer suggestions of service or update if the customer wishes.
What if my fireplace needs a replacement part?
Maschino's can identify, order, and install parts for any brand that we sell. In some cases it's also possible to find parts for brands outside of our catalog or discontinued units depending on the part needed and age of the unit. If you're not sure if it came from Maschino's, just give us a call with the brand, model, and serial if you can find them on the unit or paperwork!
I can smell gas, what do I do?!
Firstly, we need to know if you smell gas consistently or only while the unit is operating.
If you smell gas consistently, please contact City Utilities to have them locate the leak and see if the gas to your house needs to be shut off.
If you only smell gas while the unit is running, there are a few things that could be happening. Begin by turning the unit off and discontinuing use. If you'd like, you can turn the pilot off at the valve or with a key at the gas shut off located around the fireplace. Give us a call here at the store to narrow down the issue - it might be an easy fix you can do yourself!
How do I turn my pilot on / off?
The unit you have will determine how this is done (if at all) but most units follow some variation of those in the video below. To turn the pilot off, the same pilot knob in the video is used, simply turned to the OFF position.
Installation
What area do you perform installs in?
We service the greater-Springfield area including Branson and Northern Arkansas, Rolla, Joplin, Lake of the Ozarks, etc.
Outside of Springfield city limits there is a mileage fee on top of the standard install fee. If you'd like to know what the install fee looks like for your area, please give us a call or message us for an estimate!
How long does it take to install a fireplace?
This is highly dependent on the type of unit and scope of the job involved. While there are no "normal" fireplaces, you can get an idea of how long different kinds of installs can take below:
Vent Free install - 1-3 hours
Wood Stove install - 2-5 hours
Direct Vent install - 5+ hours
Do I need to get my chimney inspected before converting to a gas unit?
While Maschino's does not clean or inspect chimneys, we do suggest having it cleaned once more before the fireplace is converted to a gas unit. This ensures the chimney is free of excess soot, animal nests, structural issues or other blockages.
Do I need to get a permit to install a gas fireplace?
No! If there is already a gas line in the home that is up to code, a permit is not needed to attach or replace a gas appliance to an existing gas line. The only time it's recommended to have a permit is when the gas line itself is installed, moved, or extended and Maschino's requires a plumber to do this work.
