2025 Biomass Tax Credit Expiration
On July 4, 2025, President Trump signed the “One Big Beautiful Bill” (H.R. 1) into law. This new legislation accelerates the expiration of the Energy Efficient Home Improvement Tax Credit to December 31, 2025. You can still claim the 30% tax credit (up to $2,000 annually) for eligible wood or pellet stoves if it’s installed before the end of the year.
